Absolutely. Donors can choose to be acknowledged on the website or remain anonymous—it’s entirely up to you.
At this time, we only accept donations rather than temporary loans. Managing loaned items comes with logistical and liability challenges, including tracking returns, handling potential damage, and ensuring proper care for each item.
By donating, you’re making a lasting impact—helping future grads for years to come. Each donated item will be carefully cataloged and made available to students in need, completely free of charge.
You can support Ever After Attire by:
• Volunteering for fittings, popups or organizing and cleaning inventory
• Sponsoring services (like dry cleaning or tailoring)
• Spreading the word on social media and in the community
Keep an eye on our Facebook page about upcoming popup events.
All items are:
• Inspected after return
• Professionally cleaned if funds allow
• Repaired or retired if damage is beyond repair
If inventory levels become too high, we will:
• Prioritize the most in-demand items (styles, sizes, and conditions graduates request most).
• Donate excess inventory to other local programs, charities, or thrift stores that benefit the community.
Graduates can browse the online collection on our website. Pop-up will be announced when the collection is viewable by interested participants. Everything is provided free of charge, with the understanding that items will be returned after graduation so others can benefit.
How is the program funded?
The program relies on:
• Generous clothing donations from the community
• Financial and volunteer contributions for cleaning, repairs, and storage costs
• Transparent tracking of all donations and expenses, visible on our website
Outfits are typically loaned for a period of one to two weeks, covering the event and any fittings or photoshoots beforehand.
Follow us on Facebook and keep an eye on the website inventory listed. Once items are ready to be added to the collection we will be photographing them and adding them to the website.
We understand that sometimes things happen. However, as this is a community-supported program, we kindly ask that all items be returned promptly. If an item is not returned:
• We will make friendly reminder contact attempts.
• If there’s still no return, the borrower may be unable to participate in future programs.
We believe in sustainability and community value. Outdated or irreparable items may be:
• Repurposed for creative projects (like fashion design students’ / high school practice material)
• Donated to textile recycling programs
• While we cherish every donation, there comes a time when we need to refresh our collection to ensure we’re offering styles that graduates feel confident and excited to wear. As we move forward, we’ll carefully manage our inventory, making room for newer items while finding the best way to repurpose older pieces. Please know that there is absolutely no personal profit from this program—it’s all about giving back and supporting future grads. Thank you for your continued support in keeping this program meaningful and impactful for all!
Minor wear and tear is expected. However:
• Significant damage may result in the borrower being responsible for repair costs or providing a replacement donation if possible.
• We will handle repairs when possible using donated funds and or volunteer time, but transparency will be maintained regarding these expenses.
Ever After Attire is a community-driven program that provides free access to donated grad dresses, suits, tuxes, shoes, and accessories for graduates who need support. Our goal is to ensure that every graduate feels confident and celebrated on their big day, regardless of financial circumstances.
We accept:
• Grad dresses, suits, and tuxedos
• Formal shoes
• Accessories (ties, belts, jewelry, etc.)
• Financial donations (to support cleaning, repairs, and storage)
The program is available to all graduates in the Williams Lake area who would benefit from access to formalwear, regardless of financial situation. We operate on a trust-based system with the goal of helping as many students as possible.
